What are you looking forward to most about the #Joburg2Kili expedition? I’ve been given a great opportunity to ride with Warrick and Camilla and this trip will provide me the chance to tick two things off my bucket list: A long bicycle trip in Africa and climbing the highest peak on my home continent. I’m also excited about the chance to meet some amazing people en route and capturing our experience through photography and video.
What do you think will be the hardest part of the expedition? Having to get off the bike and stop riding after 10 amazing weeks of cycling.

What are you looking forward to most about the #Joburg2Kili expedition? I’ve been given a great opportunity to ride with Warrick, Camilla, and Gareth this trip will provide me the chance to see my home continent from a different angle – I’m usually the one in the 4×4 off to my next destination. I can’t wait to see Kili for the first time and then to summit the mountain will be another adventure of its own!
What do you think will be the hardest part of the expedition?
The first 10 days of riding I don’t have much riding experience!
JEEP SUPPORT CREW
Our support crew will be driving the Jeep Wrangler & our off-road trailer behind us whilst we are cycling along the roads from Johannesburg to Moshi.

What are you looking forward to most about the #Joburg2Kili expedition?
The reason I’m excited for this expedition is because I will get to see Africa, well Southern Africa from a different perspective. I love the bush, especially African bush. Just being outdoors in Africa is calming so this is a great way to do it, a different place most nights.
